Following on from a high-octane 2023 which saw fans being overindulged with some of the best wave production and consistent penmanship that this country has to offer, Fee Gonzales hasn't taken it easy in the new year. Just a mere few hours into 2024, the South London veteran has dropped the music video for his 'Robinsons' single from the recent '2GR8 2H8' album.

Fee Gonzales

Barely breaking a sweat over producer AP's ominous string-drenched banger, Gonzales vividly illustrates the dichotomy of road life. He effortlessly captures the dizzying highs, unrestrained indulgence, and intoxicating sense of invulnerability whilst indicating the limitations of such a lifestyle and its constant external threats that look to undermine said invulnerability.

Emphasising the magnitude of his influence in South London by alluding to 'shooters down in Stockwell/ shooters in the Hill', Gonzales ironically further cements this claim over production that is more reminiscent of Atlanta's early trap stars like OJ Da Juiceman, Gucci Mane, and Future than early Stickz, Skrapz; Joe Black & Giggs.

If he continues on this run then it will prove to be a great year for him indeed. Check out the music video and album below, and let us know what you think.
