Saweetie is back and ready to make her mark on 2024. The last few years we have heard many artists make more direct interpolations of older classical tracks. Saweetie takes inspiration on her latest single as she tackles Jill Scott’s ‘The Way’.

This track comes from 2001 on Jill Scott’s debut album ‘Who Is Jill Scott?’ After taking a listen to Saweetie’s cut, you wouldn’t even recognise the original. Saweetie completely flips the track from a flirty love letter, to a raunchy track with a trap instrumental. She talks about her authenticity, physical attractiveness and sex appeal.

This track follows up to her LL Cool J collab for his Q-Tip produced album. This new track keeps her name in the headlines for the right reasons, after being on the bad side of a few headlines with her messy relationship with YG.
