NEW: Russ - SSX Tricky

Since debuting his first album ‘Velvet’ back in 2011, Russ has been putting in that work, racking up 15 more projects to this current date. His most recent project was ‘SANTIAGO’ from August 2023. This year has been quiet for him in terms of projects but he has been consistently putting out new singles, I’m sure his fans are grateful. Whilst the artist is currently on tour, he felt like it would be the best time to drop off another single ‘SSX Tricky’.

Producer DVNT brings a very nostalgic feel to the track, as he features a slowed down soul sample. The hook finds Russ talking about being a 90s baby and a special mention to his first crush WWE star Trish Stratus. Following on from this he talks about his childhood before touching up on more modern day topics. In the second verse. Russ takes time for reflection on the second verse , where he raps about some of his biggest career achievements to date. One of those being performing at the Barclays Center.
