We are just a few weeks away from his upcoming sixth studio album, so Rod Wave decides to turn the heat up again. Over the past couple of weeks, the rapper has been extremely consistent, giving his fan new music ahead of the album release. With just two weeks left until it drops, he decides to release another new single ‘Fall Fast In Love”. We know Rod is no stranger to a bad relationship, a lot of his music revolves around heartbreak. He decided to go down this path very early on in his career, I suppose he hasn’t found a reason to switch up the topic.

Rod Waves touches upon several vulnerable subjects during this track, one of them being his shortcomings as a potential partner, he grows attached too quickly he tells us. He’s singing about a specific girl who he is seeking approval from but she is hesitant to reciprocate these feelings. On a recent IG post, it’s said that Rod Wave is the only rapper to have an album go platinum in five consecutive years, which is pretty impressive.
