NEW MIXTAPE: Casanova - I Get It Now

It’s been a long time since we have heard new music from Brooklyn artists Casanova, which is no surprise given his current situation. The rapper is currently serving a 15 year sentence for racketeering and narcotics charges. Despite this, he has decided to gift his fans some new material before 2024 is done. Shortly after receiving his sentence, he put out a statement “Everything to the chin. Nothing to the heart. I Get It Now, I hope that don’t go over ya heads” he said. Which all makes sense now, considering his new mixtape is titled ‘I Get It Now’

This serves as only his third project in his career and the first since 2019’s ‘Behind These Scars’.’ We have a decent list of features on this tape, including Joey Bada$$, YXNG K.A, Kevin Ross and Kaycyy. We previously received the two singles ‘Forgive Me Father’ and ‘Calm Down’ to promote the project. The lead single was actually Casanovas first solo single in over 3 years, which shows just how long he has been out of the game.
