Lila Iké is back with brand new music, and this time round she has teamed up with Brooklyn rap heavyweight Joey Bada$$ for her latest single, 'Fry Plantain'. The collaboration, six months after their creative partnership in the music video for 'He Loves Us Both', sees the two artists reunite to deliver a compelling exploration of love and attraction.

With production credits from DK The Punisher and Protoje, 'Fry Plantain' offers a polished fusion of reggae-inspired melodies which is set up perfectly for Lila’s enchanting vocals to glide effortlessly over the instrumental, setting the tone with her distinct warmth and emotional depth. Joey comes through and complements her delivery with introspective verses, providing a fresh perspective that perfectly balances the track's dynamic energy.

The new drop is accompanied by a cinematic visual, directed by Djuvane Armstrong, which brings the track’s story to life.
