Last week, fans were expecting a new drop from Lil Durk. Unfortunately the release date came and went and we still had no new music from the Chicago rapper. We are unsure what may have lead to the delay, but here we are on September 25 and Smurk finally drops. He took to his IG page two days ago to tease the video and told fans it would be dropping this Friday but if gets 20,000 comments he might drop earlier. After reaching his target, Durk stood on business and gifts fans ‘Turn Up A Notch’ a couple days early.
This track is a laid back track that goes down quite smooth, the chorus is the part that will be what sticks with fans. With that being said the verses are still very strong, as Durkio reflects on the struggles he has dealt with throughout his life. It seems like reflection is massive for the rapper right now, after sharing to Twitter his thoughts on being cleared of any felon.
