Jaylen Brown has had a top year so far, winning the NBA title with the Boston Celtics and winning the finals MVP. With the momentum he has had on and off the court this year, it’s not a surprise that he’s felt the confidence to take on the music game. Plus we have seen this happen before with basketball players crossing over to rap. When you already have fame and money it’s like a cheat code into the rap game because to land A$AP Ferg as your first feature is pretty impressive.
‘Just Do It’ serves as Browns first single, who knows if he will be dropping anymore music or he may have just wanted to prove something to himself. Jaylen actually kicks the song off himself, bringing a lot of talk for his haters. His flow sounds quite monotone, with not music variance in his voice from each bar. Having said that, his bars are not bad at all and the tune is recused by the feature from Ferg.
