Ever since his 2021 mixtape ‘Street Sermons’ fans have been patiently waiting for another Morray project. Many can agree that he should have capitalised on his initial buzz onto the scene but he has seemed to stall his first proper entrance into the game. For me, he is personally one of the best rapper/singers in the game, it’s confusing why he hasn’t stayed consistent with his music. The wait is now finally over and we have his debut album ‘Long Story Short’, it’s crazy to say that an artist has only just released his debut album, despite coming onto the scene over 5 years ago. His first breakthrough was from his features on J.Cole’s ‘m y l i f e’ with 21 Savage but now it’s time to pave his own way.

Morray

Previously he has proved he is much more than a feature artist, especially considering his three biggest tracks ‘Quicksand’ ‘Bad Situations’ and ‘Low Key’ racking up over 15 million streams. Morray describes this album as a “piece of my soul” and he was not exaggerating. He expressed his gratitude to his fans for waiting on him via social media, he also hints that there is a lot more music to come “I promise, it’s worth the wait. Long Story Short, the journey has only just begun.”
