J Cole returns with new track 'cLOUDs'

This week J Cole captured the internet’s attention when he issued a blog post, promising that he would be back to work on his upcoming album ‘The Fall Off’. And just like that… he’s back. He really stood on business and surprised fans with a brand new single ‘Clouds’, we aren’t expecting this to feature on the upcoming album but who knows.

The first verse on ‘Clouds’ sets the tone for h the rest of the track but the next verse is where Cole really ups the ante. His die hard fans will have been waiting for this moment where he showcases his skills as a lyricist again. The instrumental is handled by the Dreamville rapper, DZL and Omen, which gives the track another dimension by bringing in a soft edge to the hard hitting raps. Hopefully 2025 is the year we finally get ‘The Fall Off’, I guess time will tell…
