Ice Spice adds to debut album 'Y2K!' with new track 'GYAT'

Just a week after the release of her debut album 'Y2K!', Ice Spice hit us with an additional bonus track titled 'GYAT'. It’s fair to say the album split opinion in the Hip-Hop scene, but a lot of her fans have been coming to her defence, and they will definitely be happy with this new addition to the tracklist.

For the most part the reviews surrounding 'Y2K!' have been negative. Most of the bad comments are speaking on the fact it is a project with only one dimension and that it is very short, but whether you like her music or not, Ice Spice is definitely here to stay. She has made herself one of the biggest female stars in Hip-Hop right now, and it is clear to see that she is not slowing down with the music.

With the track just totalling under 2 minutes long, she certainly hasn’t paid the critics any mind and carried on using her own formula. This new tracks finds Ice rapping about the normal things you’d expect from her, in my opinion it would be good for her to rap about her emotions and take us on a story telling journey for some tracks. She would silence a lot of haters but she could still keep her originality by mixing it up a little.
